Terms of Use

Plain-language terms for using ExamCanada.online. Using the site means you agree to these. We'll keep them current and meaningful — no boilerplate clauses we don't actually intend to enforce.

What this site is

ExamCanada.online is an independent educational website offering free practice tests, study guides, and reference content for Canadian exams (driving knowledge tests, citizenship, WHMIS, and others as added). It is not an official testing authority, government body, or licensed instructor. Using this site does not register you for any exam and does not satisfy any licensing requirement.

Acceptable use

You may:

  • • Read all content for your personal exam prep
  • • Take practice tests as many times as you want
  • • Share links to pages on this site
  • • Quote short passages with attribution to ExamCanada.online

You may not:

  • • Scrape, mirror, or republish substantial portions of the site
  • • Submit spam, off-topic content, or content that misleads other learners
  • • Submit copyrighted exam questions you obtained illegally (we won't use them anyway)
  • • Use automated tools to overload the site or skew analytics
  • • Impersonate the site, its operators, or any official authority

User-submitted content

If you submit a question, an exam experience, feedback, or any other content to the site, you're telling us:

  • • You wrote it (or have the right to share it)
  • • You're okay with us publishing it on the site, possibly after editing for clarity, length, safety, or accuracy
  • • You're not submitting personal information you don't want public
  • • You're not submitting copied exam questions, defamatory content, or content that violates anyone's rights

We can decline to publish, edit, or remove submissions at any time without notice. If you'd like your submission removed, ask via the contact page.

Intellectual property

Original content on this site — study guides, practice questions we wrote, explanations, blog posts — belongs to the operators of ExamCanada.online. Public-source material referenced or quoted (e.g. Discover Canada, ICBC Learn to Drive Smart) belongs to its respective publisher and is referenced under fair-dealing principles for educational commentary.

You can quote or link to our pages with attribution. Republishing whole pages or large sections without permission is not allowed.

Accuracy and warranties

We work hard to keep content accurate (see our methodology page for the audit process), but the site is provided "as is." We don't warrant that every fact is current or that practice questions perfectly mirror the real exam. Always confirm exam fees, eligibility, ID requirements, booking processes, and current rules with the official authority.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ExamCanada.online and its operators are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your use of the site — including but not limited to failed exams, denied applications, or financial loss based on information found here. Where we cannot disclaim liability, our maximum liability for any claim arising out of the site is limited to CAD $100.

Indemnification

If you submit content to the site that causes a third-party claim (copyright, defamation, etc.), you agree to defend and indemnify the site operators against that claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.

Changes

We may update these terms when the site changes meaningfully. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the updated terms. Substantive changes are visible in the public git history of the site.
